Less than a week after the Michelin 24H Series European Series reached its halfway point at Circuit Paul Ricard, teams and drivers have already turned their attention to the penultimate round of the 2026 season. The Michelin 12H Nürburgring will take place from 3-5 July and will mark a major milestone for the Creventic-organised 24H Series.
Although the series has raced in Germany before, it has not visited the country since 2022. More significantly, the upcoming event will be the Michelin 24H Series’ first race on the Nürburgring GP circuit.
The event will bring GT3, 992, GT4 and TCE-TCX machinery to one of Europe’s most famous venues. In addition, support races from Prototype Cup Europe and Radical Cup Europe will strengthen a packed weekend programme.
GetSpeed takes GT3 lead to home event
GetSpeed Team PCX Racing will arrive at the Nürburgring with the GT3 championship lead and a clear home advantage.
The Mercedes-AMG squad holds a six-point advantage at the top of the headline class standings heading into round four. Moreover, the team’s headquarters are located at the Nürburgring itself, making the event a true home race for the current championship leaders.
GetSpeed will also field the sister GetSpeed Team JR286 entry, which currently sits second in the GT3-AM title battle. As a result, the team will have major ambitions in both the overall GT3 fight and the class standings.
With local support behind it and championship momentum to protect, GetSpeed should play a central role across the 12-hour event.
Mercedes-AMG rivals chase more success
HOFOR Racing will head to Germany in strong form after claiming overall victory last time out at Circuit Paul Ricard.
That result strengthened the Mercedes-AMG team’s campaign and sent it into round four as the GT3-AM class leader. Therefore, HOFOR will target another major points haul as the European Series enters its decisive phase.
Mercedes-AMG will also receive representation from Ajith RedAnt Racing and Viper Niza Racing. Ajith RedAnt Racing sits second in the GT3 PRO-AM standings behind GetSpeed Team PCX and holds fourth in the outright GT3 championship, making it another key contender at the Nürburgring.
Together, those entries give Mercedes-AMG a strong presence in both the overall and class battles.
Porsche, Audi, Ferrari and Aston Martin join GT3 fight
Proton Competition will add further German interest to the GT3 field with its Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO.
The Baden-Württemberg-based squad currently sits third in the PRO-AM standings and fifth in the overall GT3 championship. Consequently, Proton will look to use home soil to close the gap to the frontrunners.
Audi will also feature strongly, with four R8 LMS GT3 EVO II entries listed for the first Michelin 12H Nürburgring. Sainteloc Junior Team, which won the season-opening Michelin 12H Mugello, will field one Audi, while HAAS RT, Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport and Juta Racing will each add another.
Elsewhere, Era Motorsport will continue with its Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO after debuting the car at Paul Ricard. Pellin Racing will also return with its Ferrari 296 GT3 after missing the previous round.
E2P Racing will represent Aston Martin with its Vantage AMR GT3 EVO, while ARC Bratislava will complete the GT3 entry with its returning Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO.
992 title battle tightens after Paul Ricard
The 992 class will resume with the championship fight finely poised.
Red Camel-Jordans.nl narrowed the gap at the top of the standings after winning round three with its Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. That result cut Mühlner Motorsport’s lead to 16 points with two events remaining.
Mühlner, which won at Mugello and Spa earlier in the season, will enter the Nürburgring round as the benchmark but faces growing pressure. The team has also entered a second Porsche for the trip to Germany, giving it extra presence in a competitive class field.
RPM Racing and HRT Performance will add German representation in 992, with HRT Performance currently set to run two cars. Seblajoux Racing will also bring a twin-car entry, while Chazel Technologie Course, MM Racing and Van Berlo Motorsport by CP Motorsport will join the battle.
GT4 and TCE-TCX grids add variety
GT4 will currently feature two cars at the Nürburgring.
Circuit Toys will arrive with confidence after winning the class at the Michelin 12H Paul Ricard. The team will again run its distinctive Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.
Bonk Motorsport will provide local opposition with its BMW M4 GT4 EVO. The German squad will make its first appearance of the season, adding fresh intrigue to the class battle.
Meanwhile, TCE-TCX will expand to six entries for round four. Class leader asBest Racing will run three cars, including its SEAT Leon Cup Racer, which won at Mugello and Paul Ricard. The team will also field a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS and a Cupra TCR DSG.
Not Only Motorsport, which won at Spa, will try to overturn asBest Racing’s slim four-point championship lead with its Ligier JS2 R.
J-Mec Engineering will make only its second European Series appearance of the season with its BMW M3 E46. In addition, Sharky Racing will return to TCE-TCX with an Audi RS3 LMS TCR.
Nürburgring weekend schedule confirmed
The event programme will begin with CR Track Days on Wednesday, 1 July, and Thursday, 2 July.
Free practice and qualifying will follow on Friday, 3 July. The 992, GT4 and TCE-TCX classes will take part in three qualifying sessions, while GT3 entries will contest three additional sessions of their own.
Part one of the Michelin 12H Nürburgring will begin at 12:00 local time on Saturday, 4 July. Part two will then start at 12:00 on Sunday, 5 July.
Creventic Motorsports TV will carry live coverage on YouTube, while streaming and live timing links will be available through the official 24H Series website during the event.
Nürburgring set for key 24H Series milestone
The Michelin 12H Nürburgring will give the 2026 European Series a significant new chapter.
GetSpeed will carry the GT3 championship lead into its home race, HOFOR Racing will try to build on its Paul Ricard victory, and multiple manufacturers will fight for honours across the GT3 field. Meanwhile, the 992, GT4 and TCE-TCX classes will bring their own title battles and storylines to the Nürburgring GP circuit.
With the championship entering its penultimate round and the series visiting the venue for the first time, the weekend should deliver both sporting significance and a memorable German return for the Michelin 24H Series.
