GB4 championship leader Alex O’Grady will step in for 15-year-old Dries Van Langendonck at Rodin Motorsport as the British F4 points leader is banned.

Having taken part in FP1 and FP2 on Friday when he was P1 and P4 in those sessions, the Belgian driver found out about the ban on Friday. He has accumulated 12 penalty points across the last 12 months, hence he misses this round. Heading into this event, he holds a 41-point lead oved Lewis Wherrell. The McLaren junior, also under the wing of four-time F1 World Champion Max Verstappen, has won four races this campaign.

In place of Dries Van Langendonck for this weekend will be Irishman Alex O’Grady. The 17-year-old has put in a remarkably consistent campaign in GB4, leading the standings by 70 points with two rounds remaining. He has taken three victories, including two at Snetterton last weekend, and he has only finished outside the top 10 once. With Alex Dunne and Fionn McLaughlin having won this championship in 2022 and 2025, the driver from Galway gets his own opportunity to impress this weekend.

Fred Green, 2nd in points in GB4 and the closest challenger to O’Grady, is also making an appearance this weekend. He will be driving for Virtuosi Racing. It will be valuable running for the pair as their next round is at Donington Park in September.
