Noah Strømsted returns for his second season in the FIA Formula 3 (F3) Championship in 2026 with TRIDENT, looking to build on a strong rookie campaign.

In 2025, the Danish driver finished P6 in the Drivers’ Championship with 84 points, highlighted by a breakthrough moment at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, where he claimed his maiden F3 victory in the Sprint Race. Now, with a full season of experience under his belt, Strømsted heads into 2026 targeting even stronger and more consistent results.

“I think I’ve prepared well over the winter and last year for sure has helped a lot to prepare for this season,” he said.

“I think it will be very important, especially in places like Monaco, where it’s a street circuit that people have normally not raced at before, it’s a big advantage to have been there already and to know what to expect and how to maximise the weekend.”

Back with a familiar team

Continuity has been a key part of Strømsted’s preparation heading into the 2026 F3 season. Returning to TRIDENT means he remains surrounded by the same engineers and mechanics, something he believes puts him in a strong position from the outset.

Alongside that, the experience gained working within the team environment last year—particularly alongside 2025 Drivers’ Champion Rafael Câmara—has only added to his development.

“I’ve done quite a lot of sim and training, a few tests, but mostly sim work. Coming back with TRIDENT is very, very helpful. Everyone is the same, I have the same engineers, same mechanics, so it’s a big help knowing them for one year already.

“Knowing how each other works is important, and I think we are in a good place this season.”

Focusing on qualifying in 2026

Heading into 2026, Strømsted has identified qualifying performance as a key area for improvement. In a category as tightly contested as Formula 3, starting position often defines the outcome of a race weekend.

Drawing on lessons from his rookie season, he is placing a strong emphasis on consistency and execution when it matters most.

“I think it’s just generally experience and knowing and then understanding how the sessions unfold in Qualifying in the races. Last year, I think that’s what my main issue was in some rounds. Qualifying is so important in F3, so I’ve been working quite hard over the winter to improve that.

“Other than that, I’m just aiming to be in the fight at the top in all the rounds. I mean, this Championship is about consistency, so to always make it there in the front is where you’ll make up most of your points across the season.”

With a year of experience, strong team continuity, and a clear focus on improvement, Strømsted enters the 2026 season aiming to establish himself as a regular front-runner in the championship.
