Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak wrapped up his second FIA Formula 3 season with Campos Racing, following his rookie campaign with AIX Racing in 2024. While the Thai driver had a relatively slow start to the year, he found his rhythm in the second half of the season, playing a key role in helping Campos Racing secure the Teams’ Championship and finishing an impressive P7 in the overall standings with 74 points.

Difficulties at the start of the season

The Thai driver’s Round 1 in Melbourne got off to a strong start, qualifying P7 and converting it into a P4 finish in the Sprint and P7 in the Feature Race, marking a solid opening weekend to his 2025 campaign.

The following rounds, however, proved more challenging. Caught out by changing conditions, Inthraphuvasak could only manage P17 in Qualifying, limiting his chances to score points. His Sprint Race took another blow after contact with Strømsted on the opening lap caused a front puncture and wing damage, dropping him down to P28 before recovering to P19 by the flag. In the Feature Race, a 10-second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage ruled him out of the points once again.

In Imola, all three Campos Racing drivers were hampered by power cut issues, which severely affected their chances of scoring. To compound matters, Inthraphuvasak went wide during his flying lap, triggering red flags and seeing his lap time deleted, ensuring he started both races from the back of the grid. Despite this, he made up positions on track, demonstrating his raw pace and composure under pressure.

Monaco brought a glimmer of improvement, with Inthraphuvasak narrowly missing out on points in the Feature Race in P12. His persistence paid off in Barcelona, where he collected two points with a P9 finish in the Sprint Race, a milestone event as it marked the first time all three Campos Racing drivers scored points in the same race during the 2025 season.

Barcelona brought two more points to his tally with a P9 finish in the Sprint Race, but the following weekend in Silverstone marked the turning point of his 2025 season.

Maiden F3 win at Silverstone for Inthraphuvasak

Inthraphuvasak made history at Silverstone, becoming the first Thai driver to win an FIA Formula 3 race after controlling the Sprint Race from reverse-grid pole. He briefly lost the lead midway through but regained it to secure a memorable victory.

His success didn’t stop there. He added another Sprint Race win in Hungary, and between those rounds, picked up five points in Spa’s Sprint Race. He qualified P8 that weekend, but the torrential rain forced the cancellation of the Feature Race, denying him the chance to build on that momentum.

While both Sprint victories were standout moments, Inthraphuvasak saved his best for last. In the final round at Monza, he started P4 and patiently bided his time before seizing the lead from teammate Nikola Tsolov and AIX Racing’s Brad Benavides on Lap 17. He went on to claim his first Feature Race win and lead a Campos Racing 1–2 finish, his strongest result of the season.

Season wrap up and the future

Overall, Inthraphuvasak ended his second FIA Formula 3 campaign in impressive fashion, comfortably surpassing his previous points tally and showcasing significant growth throughout the year. While the Thai driver has yet to confirm his 2026 plans, he has positioned himself as a strong contender for a potential step up to Formula 2.
