Ugochukwu maintains 2026 F3 Championship lead after Silverstone podium

Ugochukwu entered the Feature Race with an 89-point total after winning Saturday’s Sprint Race. He then added 15 points by finishing third in the updated Feature Race classification.

As a result, the American moved to 104 points and remains at the head of the Drivers’ Championship. However, Slater’s strong Feature Race return reduced Ugochukwu’s advantage from 23 points to 18.

Ugochukwu still leaves Silverstone with a stronger championship position than he held before the weekend, having scored 26 points across the two races.

Slater closes gap after second place and pole points

Slater endured a chaotic Feature Race after starting from pole and fighting TRIDENT teammate De Palo for victory on the final lap. Although he initially dropped down the order on the road, De Palo’s disqualification and further penalties promoted Slater to second in the final classification.

The Briton added 18 points for second place and two more for pole, taking his weekend total to 86 points. Consequently, he remains second in the standings and cuts Ugochukwu’s lead to 18 points.

Théophile Naël remains third on 60 points after finishing outside the points in the final updated classification. He now trails Slater by 26 points.

Strømsted moves to fourth as Del Pino drops to fifth

Strømsted gained another position in the standings after finishing fifth in the Feature Race. The TRIDENT driver added 10 points, moving from 47 to 57.

That result lifts him from fifth to fourth, ahead of Bruno Del Pino, who failed to score and remains on 49 points.

Badoer remains seventh on 41 points after finishing outside the points, while Pedro Clerot moves to eighth on 39 after taking ninth and adding two points.
