Round 10 of the 2026 Formula E Championship continues with Qualifying in Monaco, as all drivers get ready to set the grid for the main event of the day. Race 1 was packed with action, upsets and overtakes as Nyck de Vries secured his first win as a Mahindra driver.

Yesterday also saw a new championship leader, as Mitch Evans replaced Pascal Wehrlein at the top of the standings.

FP3 signaled the beginning of the new leg of the 2026 Monaco double header ahead of Qualifying as Müller set the fastest time.

Group Stage

At the beginning of Group A, Buemi wobbled a bit as he was lacking feeling. After the first set of timed attempts, Andretti was strongly in the lead with Dennis and Drugovich. The former will be on the hunt for sure after his Race 1 was cut short early onset with contact and a DNF.

Another driver aiming for revenge is Ticktum, as he went from podium and a strong P3 to a severe penalty following an attempt to make a move on Da Costa. The Cupra Kiro advanced on to the following round, unlike latest race winner De Vries.

Rowland too had a lack of feeling while on his first outing in Group B, however he set a very strong timed effort in 1:28.765 to bolt on to the provisional P1.

Guenther had a lap time deleted for track limits, otherwise he could have been up to second place.

Duels Stage

Mahindra’s Mortara knocked out the championship leader by signing the fastest first sector of the entire racing weekend. Up next, Ticktum demonstrated himself as yet again a strong contender for pole by advancing against Andretti’s Drugovich.

Vergne advanced against reigning champion Rowland with a strong final sector. The last duel was the most contended, with just 0.001s separating Da Costa from Barnard in the slowest duel of the lot.

In the first Semi Final, the Cupra Kiro driver continued with his quest for a second pole in a row at the Principality, with almost 0.200s.

On the other hand, the second one was decided by only 0.015s, with Vergne catching up on the Jaguar man in the final sector.

Ticktum ultimately signed an impressive timed effort, securing almost 0.500s in the first sector only. His advantage grew to almost 0.700s, to become the first ever Formula E driver to secure back-to back pole positions in Monaco 2026.
