Alba Larsen will return to Chris Dittmann Racing for selected rounds of the 2026 Wera Tools British F4 Championship certified by the FIA as the Danish driver continues building momentum during her F1 Academy campaign.

The Ferrari Academy driver will replace Piotr Orzechowski for the Silverstone and Zandvoort rounds later this season. The additional track time will allow Larsen to gain further experience at two iconic Grand Prix venues while continuing her development in junior single-seater racing.

Larsen is already familiar with Chris Dittmann Racing after contesting 21 races with the team during the 2025 British F4 season. During that campaign, she secured a best Rookie Cup finish of second place at Silverstone and built valuable experience that she hopes to use during her return appearances this year.

Valuable opportunity to continue development

The Danish driver currently competes in F1 Academy, where she has shown impressive pace throughout the early stages of the 2026 season. Earlier in the year, Larsen came close to claiming victory in Shanghai before a Safety Car period disrupted her race.

Now, the return to British F4 offers another important opportunity to gain mileage and maintain momentum between F1 Academy rounds.

Her first weekend back with Chris Dittmann Racing will come immediately after rounds three, four and five of the F1 Academy campaign in Canada on 23–24 May. Larsen will then travel directly to Silverstone for the British F4 races on 30–31 May before returning later in the season for the Zandvoort rounds on 11–12 July.

The extensive running at Silverstone should help the Ferrari Academy driver quickly readjust to the British F4 machinery around one of motorsport’s most historic circuits.

Larsen excited for return to British F4

Larsen admitted she is looking forward to rejoining the team and continuing the progress she made during her rookie British F4 campaign.

“I’m really excited to be back with Chris Dittmann Racing this year. My rookie season in British F4 in 2025 was all about learning, and we gained a huge amount of experience together. Returning for the Silverstone and Zandvoort rounds is the perfect way to build momentum and prepare for my F1 Academy season. Both are iconic tracks, and I can’t wait to get back out there and keep developing as a driver. Whatever the weather brings, I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing experience.

“It’s also a big advantage to continue with the same team. Having the same people around me, the same environment, and the routines we already know means we can focus fully on pushing forward from the first session. We learned a lot last year, and now it’s about taking the next step and maximising every lap as preparation for my F1 Academy campaign.”

The continuity between driver and team could prove especially valuable at circuits like Silverstone and Zandvoort, where confidence and familiarity often play major roles in performance.

Chris Dittmann praises Larsen’s progress

Chris Dittmann also welcomed Larsen back to the team and praised the progress she has made since her previous British F4 appearances.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Alba back to the team. She’s had a really strong start to her F1 Academy season and, were it not for a Safety Car, should have won a race in Shanghai. She raced at Silverstone last year, so with an extra year of experience driving the car and competing in F1 Academy, I hope she will be well placed to capitalise and surprise a few people.”

With additional experience now behind her and confidence continuing to grow, Larsen heads back into British F4 determined to maximise every opportunity as she continues balancing her development across multiple championships during the 2026 season.
