Car Collection Motorsport has revised its driver line-up for the 2026 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, with Reinhold Krahn joining the defending Pro-Am Cup-winning team for his first appearance at the Belgian endurance classic.

The Canadian will share the No. 8 Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo with Porsche-contracted driver Joel Sturm, Spa regular Niccolo Shiro and Porsche newcomer Nicolo Rosi. Krahn replaces Kenzie Beecroft, who appeared on the event’s original entry list.

Krahn prepares for Spa debut

Therefore, Krahn will make both his 24 Hours of Spa and GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS debuts during the 27–28 June race.

The 59-year-old has already gained experience in GT3 machinery this season. He competed in the 24H Middle East series earlier in 2026 and currently races a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Although Krahn joined the programme shortly before the event, his recent Porsche experience should help him adapt to the demands of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit and the championship’s largest endurance race.

Car Collection targets another Pro-Am success

Car Collection Motorsport enters the event as the reigning Pro-Am Cup winner after taking class honours at Spa in 2025.

However, the German team will defend that result with a completely different driver combination. Noam Abramczyk, Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux and Yuan Bo delivered last year’s victory, while Sturm will now lead the revised 2026 quartet.

The squad assembled its latest programme at short notice. Nevertheless, it believes that the combination of Sturm, Shiro, Rosi and Krahn gives it enough experience and pace to challenge near the front of the Pro-Am field.

Krahn aims to contribute to podium challenge

Krahn will approach his Spa debut with the goal of supporting the team throughout the 24-hour contest and helping it fight for another class podium.

The event will require the four drivers to manage changing weather, traffic and the physical demands of racing through the night. Furthermore, consistency and reliability will prove crucial as Car Collection attempts to repeat its 2025 success.

Krahn’s experience in the Porsche should reduce the challenge created by his late call-up, although the team will still need to complete its final preparations during race week.

Kessel Racing also changes its entry

Car Collection has not made the only late driver change ahead of the event.

Kessel Racing has added Ben Tuck to its Bronze Cup-entered No. 74 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo. The FIA World Endurance Championship Ford Mustang GT3 driver will replace Lorenzo Patrese and race alongside Mathys Jaubert, Dennis Marschall and Dustin Blattner.

Tuck has previous experience with Kessel Racing after representing the team in the 2025 European Le Mans Series. Meanwhile, Patrese will miss Spa because he will compete for Conquest Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship during the same weekend.

Revised crews ready for endurance challenge

The late changes give both Car Collection Motorsport and Kessel Racing updated combinations for one of the most demanding GT3 races in the world.

Car Collection will aim to defend its Pro-Am Cup crown with an entirely new group of drivers, while Kessel will rely on Tuck’s experience as it pursues success in the Bronze Cup.

The revised crews will join the rest of the field at Spa-Francorchamps for the 2026 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa on 27–28 June.
