The 2026 F3 Barcelona Round Qualifying brought excitement and narrow gaps between the pack, full results below.
The Free Practice session ended with Théophile Naël taking the top spot with a lap time of 1:28.422. Soon after, he was followed by his teammates Ugochukwu and Rivera.
As the 30 drivers headed onto the track for Qualifying, the fight for pole was on. Still in great form, Naël set the first benchmark of the session with a 1:29.384.
Halfway through, the top three were Ugochukwu, Kato, and Rivera. Ugochukwu topped the timings with a 1:28.707. With 15 minutes still to go, there was plenty of time for the top spots to change.
Naël continued to be the one to beat as he improved his time once again, going three tenths faster than Bruno del Pino to take the top spot.
With less than one minute left of Qualifying, problems occurred. Hitech’s Nakamura and Shin both found themselves going through the gravel and picking up damage.
Once again, Théophile Naël was the one to beat as he crossed the chequered flag to take his third consecutive pole position of the season.
