The 24 Hours of Le Mans will return from 11-14 June with a packed 62-car grid for the 94th running of the world’s most celebrated endurance race. Organisers have now confirmed the definitive entry list for Round 3 of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, and the field promises quality, variety and major storylines across all three classes.
Since 1923, Le Mans has tested drivers, teams and manufacturers like few other events in motorsport. Alongside the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500, it forms part of the sport’s famous Triple Crown. Therefore, every crew that heads to La Sarthe will chase more than a class result; each driver will pursue a place in racing history.
Hypercar battle set to take centre stage with strong line-up for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026
The Hypercar class will again command the spotlight, with 18 entries fighting for overall victory. Ferrari arrives as the benchmark after the 499P claimed every Le Mans win from 2023 onwards. However, the Italian marque now faces its toughest challenge yet.
Toyota will lead the pursuit after making a strong start to the 2026 FIA WEC season with victory at Imola. The Japanese manufacturer remains the most successful marque in FIA WEC history, and it will aim to restore its Le Mans dominance. Meanwhile, Genesis will add fresh intrigue as Hyundai’s premium brand makes its first appearance at La Sarthe with the GMR-001-Hypercar.
Ferrari, Toyota, Cadillac, BMW, Alpine, Peugeot, Aston Martin and Genesis all feature in the Hypercar field, which gives the top class a strong manufacturer spread. The official list confirms three Ferrari 499Ps, two Toyota TR010 Hybrids, three Cadillac V-Series.Rs, two BMW M Hybrid V8s, two Alpine A424s, two Peugeot 9X8s, two Aston Martin Valkyries and two Genesis entries.

French hopes rise in LMP2
While Hypercar will decide the overall winner, LMP2 could deliver one of the most emotional fights of the weekend. Nineteen crews will contest the category, and several French names give the home crowd plenty to follow.
Kévin Estre will race for TDS Racing alongside Tobias Lütke and Mathias Beche. Estre, the 2024 world champion and former Le Mans pole-sitter, last won at Le Mans in 2018 in LMGTE Pro. Now, he returns with a clear target: another trip to the top step.
Julien Andlauer will also attract strong home support. He joins Duqueine Team with Doriane Pin and Richard Verschoor, creating one of the most eye-catching line-ups in the class. The official entry list also places Jack Doohan at Nielsen Racing, where the former Alpine Formula 1 driver will share an Oreca 07-Gibson with David Heinemeier Hansson and Edward Pearson.
Star names add depth across the field
The final list strengthens the race with several notable additions. Nico Müller joins Inter Europol Competition in LMP2, where he will race alongside Bijoy Garg and Reshad de Gérus. His arrival adds proven touring car and endurance pedigree to a team that already knows how to win at Le Mans.
Elsewhere, the grid includes familiar names from Formula 1, DTM, GT racing and international endurance competition. That mix gives the race its traditional appeal: factory stars, rising talents, experienced specialists and ambitious privateers will all share the same stage for 24 relentless hours.

LMGT3 brings the biggest class
LMGT3 will bring the largest contingent, with 25 cars listed for the race. The category features a wide spread of machinery, including the Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo, Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R, Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3, BMW M4 LMGT3 Evo, Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, Lexus RC F LMGT3, Ford Mustang LMGT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R LMGT3 and McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo.
That variety should create a fierce class battle, especially as manufacturers and customer teams continue to develop their LMGT3 programmes under intense race conditions. In a 24-hour contest, strategy, reliability and traffic management will matter just as much as raw speed.
