The 2026 F1 Academy standings took another major turn after the Feature Race at the Canadian GP weekend, as Alisha Palmowski claimed her second victory of the Montreal weekend and strengthened her hold on the Drivers’ Championship.

The Campos Racing driver dominated in wet conditions, leading from lights to flag and winning by almost 11 seconds. Emma Felbermayr finished second, while Megan Bruce completed the podium to make it another strong race for Campos Racing.

With victory in the Feature Race, Palmowski now leads the Drivers’ Championship on 78 points. Felbermayr remains second on 53 points, while Bruce moves up to third on 37 after her podium finish.

Campos Racing also extended its advantage in the Teams’ Championship, moving to 142 points after another double podium at the Canadian GP.

Palmowski maintains control of the Drivers’ standings after 2026 F1 Academy round at the Canadian GP

Palmowski entered the Feature Race already in control of the standings after a dominant Opening Race victory and a difficult Reverse Grid Race. However, her second win of the Canadian GP weekend has now given her a commanding lead at the top of the championship.

Starting from pole, the Red Bull-backed driver made a clean getaway in wet and cold conditions and quickly built a comfortable gap. Although she reported a power issue in the closing stages, she held on to secure another dominant victory.

The result moves Palmowski to 78 points, giving her a 25-point advantage over Felbermayr. After only two rounds, the Campos driver has already established herself as the clear championship leader.

Felbermayr remains second after late move for P2

Felbermayr strengthened her position in second place in the Drivers’ Championship after another strong recovery drive in Montréal.

The Audi-backed driver spent much of the Feature Race chasing Payton Westcott for the final podium position. After applying pressure for several laps, she eventually moved past before closing on Bruce in the final stages.

Felbermayr then claimed second place late in the race, adding another important points finish to her weekend. She now sits on 53 points, 16 clear of Bruce in third.

Although Palmowski has pulled away at the front, Felbermayr remains in a strong position in the championship fight after another consistent weekend.

Bruce climbs to third after Campos double podium

Bruce was one of the biggest winners from the Canadian GP Feature Race. After starting third, she made early progress and passed Westcott to move into second, making it a Campos Racing one-two during the opening phase.

Although Felbermayr passed her late in the race, Bruce still secured third place and her second podium of the Montréal weekend. That result moves her up to third in the Drivers’ Championship on 37 points.

Her rise also gives Campos Racing a major boost in the Teams’ Championship. With Palmowski winning and Bruce finishing third, the Spanish team now holds a significant lead over its rivals.

Westcott and Paatz remain firmly in the top five

Westcott continued her strong Canadian GP weekend with fourth place in the Feature Race. After starting on the front row, she initially held second before losing out to Bruce and later Felbermayr.

Despite missing out on the podium, Westcott still moves to 36 points and sits fourth in the Drivers’ Championship, just one point behind Bruce.

Mathilda Paatz also remains in the top five after finishing fifth in the Feature Race. Following her maiden F1 Academy victory in the Reverse Grid Race, the Aston Martin-backed driver now has 35 points and sits fifth in the standings.

The close gap between Bruce, Westcott and Paatz means the fight behind Palmowski and Felbermayr remains extremely tight.

Gademan, Ferreira, Lloyd and Larsen stay in close fight

Nina Gademan sits sixth in the standings on 30 points after finishing seventh in the Feature Race. She remains ahead of Rafaela Ferreira, who is seventh on 27 points after scoring the final point in 10th.

Ella Lloyd and Alba Larsen are now tied on 23 points. Lloyd recovered from 16th on the grid to finish ninth despite early contact with Lisa Billard, while Larsen finished sixth and set the fastest lap during the race.

Natalia Granada completes the top ten in the Drivers’ Championship with 17 points after finishing eighth in the Feature Race.
