Campos Racing’s Alisha Palmowski secured victory in a wet Feature Race at the 2026 F1 Academy Montreal round, view the full report here.

The F1 Academy Canadian GP kicked off with a dominant Opening Race drive from Alisha Palmowski, who claimed her first win of the season by a record-breaking 10.119s margin. Chaos unfolded during the following Reverse Grid Race, with incidents resulting in three driver DNFs while Mathilda Paatz claimed her maiden F1 Academy victory. Several post-race penalties shook up the final results, promoting Payton Westcott to P3 and forming a special all-rookie podium.

With the final race of the weekend underway, Palmowski lined up alongside Westcott on the front row. Meanwhile, Megan Bruce and Emma Felbermayr started behind in P3 and P4, respectively, as Paatz completed the top five for the Feature Race.

Lights out for the F1 Academy Canadian GP Feature Race

At lights out, Palmowski got off to a strong start to take control of the wet Feature Race. Further back, Ella Stevens stalled off the line while her teammate, Ella Lloyd, made contact with Lisa Billard, spinning the Gatorade-backed driver around and dropping her to the back of the field.

By the end of the opening lap, Westcott and Bruce engaged in a wheel-to-wheel battle at the hairpin, with Bruce getting by at the main straight, making it a Campos Racing 1-2. Meanwhile, Wild Card entry Autumn Fisher slowly began struggling with the slippery conditions, going wide multiple times. Race Control noted Lloyd and Billard for the incident, but no further action was taken.

Running in P7, Nina Gademan went wide at the final corner, while Palmowski slightly missed the breaking point at the hairpin, though the mistake didn’t massively disrupt her lead. A lap later, Gademan lunged down the inside of Larsen, forcing Larsen wide, eventually losing two places.

Close battles continue

Battling for track position, Lloyd made a brave move down the inside of Rafaela Ferreira. However, moments later, the McLaren-supported driver went off track, dropping down to P10. At the front, Palmowski extended her lead to 5.6 seconds, with Bruce and Westcott behind.

As track conditions evolved, driver mistakes increased, with several drivers going wide. Battling for P6, Larsen made a decisive move against her MP Motorsport teammate Nina Gademan. Lap 12 saw Robertson and Ferreira go wide, with Ferreira soon receiving a black-and-white flag for track limits.

Race Control noted Jacquet for leaving the track and gaining an advantage, while Westcott and Felbermayr began a tight battle for the final podium position. Despite defending well for several laps, Westcott lost her P3 position after going off track. Notably, Larsen set the fastest lap on Lap 14.

Final laps

Misfortune struck Esmee Kosterman, who received a 5-second penalty for causing a collision with Jacquet at Turn 13. On the penultimate lap, Felbermayr closed the gap to Bruce in P2, claiming the position a lap later. With a few corners left, Palmowski reported a power issue over the radio, but survived until the chequered flag.

With this result, Palmowski claimed her second victory of the Montreal round, breaking her Opening Race lead gap record, to now make it 10.9 seconds. Emma Felbermayr and Megan Bruce completed the 2026 F1 Academy Montreal Feature Race podium.
