Jasser Iskander will start the final GB4 race at Donington Park from pole position as Fox Motorsport locks out the front row.

The Saudi Arabian rookie lines up alongside teammate Enzo Rujugiro, while Arden Motorsport’s Solenn Amrouche and Michael Koh share the second row. Race 2 winner Dayton Coulthard starts seventh, with Race 1 winner Luke Hilton ninth.

The reverse-grid format and post-Race 2 penalties have significantly reshaped the 26-car starting order. Race 3 will begin at 15:00 UK time.

Iskander claims maiden pole through reverse-grid format

GB4 forms the Race 3 grid by reversing the top 12 drivers who recorded Qualifying laps within 103% of the fastest time.

However, only 10 drivers met the 103% requirement after officials completed their post-Qualifying investigations. Therefore, Iskander moves to the front of the grid for the first time in his GB4 career.

The Fox Motorsport driver started Race 2 from fifth and fought inside the podium positions before contact at the Melbourne Hairpin ended his race with two laps remaining. Race 3 now gives him an immediate opportunity to respond from pole.

Rujugiro completes Fox Motorsport front row

Rujugiro joins Iskander on the front row and gives Fox Motorsport control of the leading two grid positions.

The South African rookie endured a difficult opening two races at Donington Park, retiring from Race 1 before finishing 13th in Race 2. However, his front-row start creates an opportunity to secure his strongest result of the weekend.

Amrouche starts third for Arden Motorsport, while teammate Koh completes the second row. Koh ran among the podium contenders during Race 2 before a puncture at Coppice ended his challenge after four laps.

McLean and Nolan occupy third row

Joshua McLean will start fifth for Pace Performance, one position ahead of Race 2 polesitter Demitri Nolan.

Both drivers failed to finish Sunday morning’s contest. McLean retired after four laps, while Nolan led the field away from pole before rear-wing damage forced him into the pits after eight laps.

Consequently, Race 3 gives both drivers another chance to convert a strong starting position into points.

Coulthard starts seventh after Race 2 victory

Coulthard will begin Race 3 from seventh after claiming his second victory of the season earlier on Sunday.

The Douglas Motorsport driver passed Nolan before Redgate and controlled two Safety Car restarts to win by 1.414s. He now starts alongside Fortec Motorsports rookie Franciszek Cegielski on row four.

Hilton follows in ninth after taking victory and second place across the opening two races. Championship leader Alex O’Grady completes the top 10 after climbing from 14th to fourth in Race 2.

Martin and Hallman receive five-place penalties

Officials handed five-place grid penalties to Jordyn Martin and Enzo Hallman for causing incidents during Race 2.

Martin will therefore start 11th for Fortec Motorsports. Matan Achituv lines up alongside her in 12th after finishing fifth on Sunday morning.

Hallman drops to 24th following his penalty. The Hillspeed driver made contact with Iskander and John O’Donnell at the Melbourne Hairpin during the closing stages of Race 2.

Cars without valid Qualifying lap times have been arranged according to their championship positions, completing the order behind the reversed top 10.

Green faces another recovery drive

Former championship leader Fred Green starts 18th for Elite Motorsport after failing to complete a lap in Race 2.

Green’s early retirement allowed O’Grady to move into the championship lead. Therefore, he must work through the field in Race 3 to limit the points lost during a challenging Sunday.

Race 2 podium finisher Torrin Byrne starts 20th. He charged from 17th to third earlier in the day but faces an even greater recovery task from the 10th row.

Romuald Bocquet, who climbed from last to eighth in Race 2, starts 17th, while Emilio Valentino Del Grosso begins directly behind Green in 19th.
