After finishing his rookie F3 campaign 10th in the Drivers’ Standings with 67 points, Alessandro Giusti enters the 2026 FIA Formula 3 season eager to fight at the front of the pack with MP Motorsport. During a press conference attended by Pit Debrief, Giusti identified his targets for his sophomore F3 season, and highlighted the support that he continues to receive both from his team and as a member of the Williams Driver Academy.
Giusti focused on “not making mistakes” as he targets 2026 F3 title with MP Motorsport
In response to a question from Pit Debrief, Giusti pinpointed consistency — particularly in the all-important Qualifying sessions — as the key area for improvement. In 2025, he showed strong race pace but failed to maximise several grid positions on Saturdays, which ultimately limited his results.
“Compared to last year, F3 is pretty tough, pretty tight championship. My difficulty last year was Quali, not maximising the result, and that will be the goal this year. I think the consistency was quite good, we scored quite like 15 races, we scored points, so it was quite consistent for us. We just need this small step in Quali to be more in the front and to fight for the good position. Not making mistakes is the goal in F3.”
Now entering his second season, Giusti understands the demands of the championship. With a year of experience behind him, the French racing driver aims to cut out errors, execute stronger Qualifying performances and convert his race pace into podium and title contention.
Giusti maintains stability with MP Motorsport and Williams support
Giusti remains with MP Motorsport for 2026 and continues as a member of the Williams Driver Academy, which he joined in 2024. He benefits from continuity both within his Formula 3 team and the Academy set-up.
When asked about the preparation and support ahead of the season, Giusti stated: “The help is the same. I have still the simulator, I can prepare for the race week and the test. I still have the same people behind me, so it’s good to have the same people and the same preparation as last year. I’m a second year, so it will be different. What will change is the goal; at the end of the year, it will be to fight for a good place in the championship.”
Armed with experience, stability and a clear focus on eliminating mistakes, Giusti enters the 2026 F3 season ready to challenge at the sharp end. After a year of adaptation, the French driver now sets his sights firmly on the title fight.
