Fred Green remains at the head of the 2026 GB4 Drivers’ Championship standings after Round 2 at Oulton Park, but Alex O’Grady has cut into his advantage following a strong weekend for KMR Sport.

Green now leads the standings on 140 points, with O’Grady second on 127. As a result, only 13 points separate the top two after six races. Enzo Hallman remains firmly in contention in third with 122 points, while Thomas Ingram Hill sits fourth on 98. The official GB4 standings also list Jason Smyth fifth on 81 points, ahead of Matan Achituv on 76.

Green keeps lead, but O’Grady applies pressure

Green entered Oulton Park as the championship leader after a dominant Silverstone opener. He strengthened that position in Race 1, converting pole into victory for Elite Motorsport after resisting sustained pressure from O’Grady. The pair remained closely matched throughout the race, with Green winning by less than a second.

However, O’Grady responded in Race 2. After securing pole for the second contest, he controlled the restart and claimed his first victory of the 2026 season. That result helped him close the gap to Green and move clear of Hallman in the fight for second.

Although Green finished outside the podium in Race 3, he still scored crucial points in 11th. O’Grady finished one place ahead in 10th, ensuring the championship gap narrowed but did not disappear.

Hallman remains close as Ingram Hill strengthens fourth

Hallman continued his consistent start to the season with two third-place finishes and a sixth in Race 3. That leaves him third overall on 122 points, only five behind O’Grady and 18 behind Green.

Behind the leading trio, Ingram Hill has built a strong early-season platform. The Fortec Motorsports driver finished fourth in both Race 1 and Race 2 before taking fifth in Race 3. Therefore, he remains fourth in the standings on 98 points, giving him a clear advantage over the chasing pack.

Smyth holds fifth on 81 points despite a quieter Oulton Park weekend, while Achituv remains sixth on 76 after two sixth-place finishes and a Race 3 retirement.

Midfield tightens after McLean breakthrough

The midfield battle changed significantly at Oulton Park. Dayton Coulthard and Connor Willis are now tied on 72 points, sitting seventh and eighth respectively. Coulthard’s second place in Race 3 helped him recover after a Race 2 retirement, while Willis added consistent points across all three races.

Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso also moved into the top ten after taking third in Race 3. He now sits ninth on 66 points, just one point ahead of Torrin Byrne. Byrne’s strong Race 1 run to fifth and further points in Race 2 and Race 3 keep him 10th overall.

Josh McLean’s maiden GB4 victory in Race 3 was one of the biggest standings stories of the weekend. The Pace Performance driver climbed to 11th overall on 63 points after converting the reversed-grid opportunity into a breakthrough win.

Championship fight tightens after Oulton Park

After two rounds, Green remains the benchmark in the Drivers’ Championship. However, Oulton Park has made the title fight significantly tighter. O’Grady’s first win of the season reduced the deficit to 13 points, while Hallman’s consistency keeps him within striking distance of both drivers.

Behind them, Ingram Hill has established himself as the strongest of the next group, while the battle from fifth to 12th remains highly compressed. Smyth, Achituv, Coulthard, Willis, Del Grosso, Byrne, McLean and Hilton are all separated by only 20 points.

The Teams’ Championship is even more open. Hillspeed has moved to the top, but Douglas Motorsport, Fortec Motorsports, KMR Sport and Pace Performance all remain close enough to challenge. With Elite Motorsport now rebuilding from its teams’ points loss, the Oulton Park standings have reshaped both championship battles heading into Donington Park.
