Round 4 of the 2026 GT World Challenge (GTWC) Europe season took place at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, which also served as the third Endurance Cup round of the year. Lionspeed GP won the 24-hour race with the #80 Porsche after starting from the pit lane, while the #48 Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER entry finished second and AF Corse completed the overall podium with the #51 Ferrari.

Spa reshaped the Overall and Endurance Cup standings because teams scored points at the six-hour, 12-hour and 24-hour marks. As a result, Winward Racing strengthened its overall championship lead, while Lionspeed GP’s Spa victory moved the Porsche squad up to third in the Overall Teams’ standings.

However, the Sprint Cup standings remain unchanged after Brands Hatch, as Spa counted only towards the Endurance Cup. Therefore, the Round 4 standings picture splits into three parts: the combined Overall standings, the unchanged Sprint Cup tables, and the updated Endurance Cup standings after Spa.

Brands Hatch remains the only Sprint Cup round completed so far, meaning Comtoyou Racing continues to lead the Sprint Cup Teams’ standings, while Marco Sørensen, Mattia Drudi and Nicki Thiim remain at the top of the Drivers’ standings.

Endurance Cup

Spa-Francorchamps counted as the third Endurance Cup round of the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season, following Circuit Paul Ricard and Monza. Therefore, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa had a major impact on the Endurance Cup tables, while the Sprint Cup standings remained unchanged.

The Endurance Cup uses points from the long-distance rounds only, and Spa carried extra weight because points were awarded at the six-hour, 12-hour and 24-hour marks. As a result, consistency across the full race mattered as much as the finishing order. Winward Racing used that format to strengthen its Overall Endurance Cup lead, while Lionspeed GP’s Spa victory lifted the team into the Overall top six despite not leading the championship.

The class battles also shifted significantly. Garage 59 leads Gold Cup, Team WRT controls Silver Cup, and Kessel Racing holds the Bronze Cup lead after a strong Spa points haul. With Nürburgring and Portimão still to come, the Endurance Cup titles remain open, but Spa created several clear championship leaders.

2026 GTWC Europe Standings after Spa-Francorchamps: Endurance Cup: Overall

Winward Racing holds a commanding lead in the Endurance Cup Overall Teams’ Championship after Spa-Francorchamps. The Mercedes-AMG squad sits on 74 points after scoring at Circuit Paul Ricard, Monza and across the Spa points intervals. Team WRT follows in second on 38 points, while Comtoyou Racing sits third on 34. ROWE Racing and Garage 59 complete the top five on 33 and 32 points respectively, with Spa winner Lionspeed GP sixth on 30.

The Drivers’ standings show the same strength at the front. Lucas Auer, Maro Engel and Luca Stolz lead on 74 points after another major points haul for Winward Racing. Marco Sørensen, Nicki Thiim and Mattia Drudi sit second on 33 points for Comtoyou Racing, just one point ahead of Louis Prette, Thomas Fleming and Benjamin Goethe in third. Bastian Buus, Ricardo Feller and Thomas Preining follow fourth on 30 after their Spa victory, while Augusto Farfus, Raffaele Marciello and Jake Dennis complete the top five on 26.

2026 GTWC Europe Standings after Spa-Francorchamps: Endurance Cup: Bronze Cup

Kessel Racing controls the Endurance Cup Bronze Teams’ Championship after Spa-Francorchamps. The Ferrari squad leads on 87 points after scoring heavily across the 24-hour race and now holds a 22-point advantage over Paradine Competition. Rutronik Racing sits third on 50 points, while Winward Racing follows in fourth on 40. Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn completes the top five on 33.

Dustin Blattner and Dennis Marschall lead the Bronze Drivers’ standings on 87 points, matching Kessel Racing’s teams’ total. Darren Leung and James Kellett hold second on 65 points for Paradine Competition, while Ben Tuck and Mathys Jaubert sit third on 50. Antares Au also has 50 points, keeping the battle for third level on points. Gabriele Piana, Rinat Salikhov and Marvin Dienst complete the top five on 40 points. Although Kessel Racing has created a healthy margin, the Bronze Cup remains vulnerable to large swings because Nürburgring and Portimão still offer two more endurance scoring opportunities.

Spa-Francorchamps changed the shape of the 2026 GTWC Europe season without altering the Sprint Cup standings. As the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa counted only towards the Endurance Cup, the Brands Hatch Sprint Cup order remains unchanged, while the combined Overall and Endurance Cup tables now reflect one of the most important points-paying races of the year.

Winward Racing leaves Spa with the clearest advantage. The Mercedes-AMG squad leads both the combined Overall Teams’ Championship and the Endurance Cup Overall Teams’ standings, while Lucas Auer, Maro Engel and Luca Stolz also hold firm control of the Drivers’ picture.

However, the class battles remain active. Garage 59 leads both the combined Gold Cup and Endurance Gold Cup standings, Team WRT holds a commanding Silver Cup advantage across the Overall and Endurance tables, and Kessel Racing has built a strong Bronze Cup lead after Spa.

Lionspeed GP’s Spa victory also adds another major contender to the overall picture, even though Winward’s consistency keeps it ahead. With Nürburgring and Portimão still to come in the Endurance Cup, the championship remains open, but Spa has given the leading teams a clear platform for the second half of the season.
