Crosslink Motorsports delivered another strong FRAC performance at IMS, collecting multiple podiums, a Masters class victory and several valuable points finishes across its six-car line-up.
The AJ Foyt Racing Driver Development programme showed competitive pace throughout the three-race weekend, while its drivers also responded well to incidents and changing circumstances. Evagoras Papasavvas led the team’s effort with three overall podiums, while Kekai Hauanio added another top-three result in Race 3.
Meanwhile, Kevin Janzen secured a Masters podium in the opening race before claiming the class victory in the finale. Alejandro Bobadilla also impressed during the first two contests as Crosslink Motorsports strengthened its position ahead of the second half of the season.
Papasavvas charges from the back in Race 1
Papasavvas produced one of the standout drives of the IMS weekend after starting Race 1 from the rear of the field. The championship contender steadily worked his way forward and avoided unnecessary risks as he climbed through the order. He eventually crossed the line in second, converting a difficult starting position into a major haul of championship points.
Hauanio and rookie Bobadilla also finished inside the top 10, taking sixth and seventh respectively. Barrett Wolfe followed in 14th, while Aidan Schuh could not take the start.
Janzen added another trophy to the team’s total by finishing third in the Masters class. Consequently, Crosslink Motorsports ended the opening race with strong results across both the overall and class classifications.
Papasavvas and Bobadilla continue strong form
Papasavvas returned to the podium in Sunday morning’s Race 2, securing third place and maintaining his championship momentum.
Bobadilla continued his impressive rookie weekend with fifth. His result followed seventh place in the opener and gave him two consecutive strong finishes at one of the calendar’s most prestigious venues.
Wolfe also improved to seventh, while Hauanio completed the top 10. However, Schuh and Janzen both encountered early incidents and could not reach the chequered flag.
Despite those setbacks, Crosslink Motorsports still placed four cars inside the top 10 and added another overall podium to its weekend tally.
Hauanio joins Papasavvas on Race 3 podium
The final race produced Crosslink Motorsports’ strongest overall result of the weekend. Papasavvas completed his triple-podium run with second place, while Hauanio joined him in third. Their results placed two Crosslink Motorsports cars on the overall podium and underlined the team’s front-running pace.
Schuh rebounded from his earlier difficulties to finish seventh, while Wolfe added another top-10 result in ninth. Janzen crossed the line 10th overall and claimed the Masters class victory.
Bobadilla appeared set to complete another strong race, but an on-track incident brought his promising run to an early conclusion. Nevertheless, his earlier results had already marked him as one of the team’s standout performers at IMS.
Kaszuba praises team’s resilience
Crosslink Motorsports finished the weekend with four overall podiums, one Masters victory and several points-paying results. Papasavvas reinforced his place in the championship battle, while Hauanio continued to run near the front. Bobadilla also showed strong rookie pace, and Janzen converted his consistency into another Masters class win.
Team owner Gill Kaszuba praised the organisation for continuing to maximise its opportunities despite the challenges it faced throughout the event.
“Indianapolis was another strong weekend for our team,” expressed Kaszuba, who was pleased with the overall effort from the Crosslink Motorsports organization. “Evagoras put together some incredible drives and showed exactly why he’s in the championship fight. Kekai continued to run consistently near the front, Alejandro had another impressive showing as a rookie, and Kevin picked up another Masters class win. We had some challenges throughout the weekend, but the entire team continued to fight and maximize every opportunity. I’m proud of what everyone accomplished, and we’re looking forward to carrying this momentum into New Jersey.”
The team’s results supported Kaszuba’s assessment. Crosslink Motorsports remained competitive across its full line-up and recovered strongly when incidents threatened to disrupt the weekend.
Crosslink Motorsports looks towards New Jersey
Crosslink Motorsports remains firmly positioned for a strong second half of the 2026 FRAC season.
Papasavvas continues to challenge near the top of the standings, while Hauanio has shown consistent front-running speed. Bobadilla’s rookie progress and Janzen’s Masters success have also added depth to the team’s campaign.
The championship will now pause briefly before resuming at New Jersey Motorsports Park from 31 July to 2 August. Crosslink Motorsports will arrive there aiming to convert its IMS momentum into further podiums, class victories and championship points.
