The second round of the 2026 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) produced a change of the standings leader in all four classes following the 4 Hours of Le Castellet.
United Autosports moved to the top of LMP2 after Griffin Peebles, Grégoire Saucy and Ben Hanley followed their Barcelona podium with victory at Circuit Paul Ricard. Duqueine Team leads LMP2 Pro/Am, while Inter Europol Competition and Kessel Racing moved ahead in LMP3 and LMGT3 respectively.
The LMP2 Pro/Am order initially remained provisional after AF Corse requested a Right of Review against the penalty that dropped the #83 Oreca from first to sixth in class at Le Castellet. However, the stewards later rejected the request and upheld the original decision, confirming Duqueine Team at the head of the standings.
United Autosports moves to the top of LMP2
United Autosports entered Le Castellet third in the LMP2 standings after Peebles, Saucy and Hanley finished third at the opening round in Barcelona.
The #22 crew then collected the maximum 25 race points in France, taking its total to 40. That result moved United Autosports three points clear of the #34 Inter Europol Competition Oreca shared by Bijoy Garg and Reshad de Gérus.
Garg and de Gérus have finished second in both races. De Gérus also secured the bonus point for pole position in Barcelona, leaving the pair on 37 points despite not yet taking a victory.
Forestier Racing by Panis dropped from first to third after a technical issue ended the #29 car’s home race. Esteban Masson, Louis Rousset and Oliver Gray still earned one point for pole position, increasing their total to 26.
The #18 IDEC Sport crew of Jamie Chadwick, Laurents Hörr and Valerio Rinicella sits fourth on 24 points after finishing fourth in both Barcelona and Le Castellet. Vector Sport follows on 18 points with Pietro Fittipaldi, Ryan Cullen and Vladislav Lomko.
