Andretti Formula E heads to Monaco this weekend for Round 9 and 10 of the 2025/26 Formula E World Championship, looking to continue the improving performance trend after the Berlin doubleheader. Jake Dennis aims to return to the podium at one of his strongest circuits, while Felipe Drugovich carries confidence after securing his first points for the team in Berlin. The focus is now on the iconic streets of Monaco, where Andretti has historically performed well.

Griffiths targets consistency an Andretti returns to Monaco

For Team Principal Roger Griffiths, Berlin marked an important step forward for the team, with both cars scoring points. Heading into Monaco, the focus is on maximizing every session, especially with the unique weekend format. With overtaking opportunities being more limited than at other circuits, he recognizes that qualifying at the front is essential to get a strong result.

“With both cars in the points during the final race in Berlin, the team achieved an important milestone and demonstrated that progress had been made. It’s a great confidence boost for us. […] The Monaco weekend format is unique, with four sessions on the first day, so maximizing time on track is going to be vital to a successful weekend. It’s difficult to come through the field successfully from a low starting position, and while overtaking in the Principality is not as difficult as in other Championships, starting towards the front reduces the risk of a mistake in trying to make up track position.”

Dennis aims to build on Monaco success

Dennis arrives in Monaco with an impressive record at the circuit, having two podium finishes and scoring points in every Formula E race he has started there. After scoring solid points in Berlin, the Andretti driver believes improving qualifying performance will be crucial if the team wants to challenge at the front once again. While overtaking remains possible, Dennis mentions the importance of track position which makes Saturday and Sunday’s qualifying sessions especially significant.

“Monaco is always a special event for drivers. I’ve had some good results from racing here, so we’ll be aiming to replicate the same again. Qualifying will be considerably more important this weekend compared with other races, so we need to try and get the car in a good window from the offset in Free Practice 1. It’s generally quite difficult to overtake in Monaco, and with the races being shorter this year, it only adds to that challenge.”

Drugovich looks to translate Monaco experience into Formula E success

Drugovich heads into his tenth race weekend with Andretti encouraged by his first points-scoring for team in Berlin. Monaco also holds positive memories for the Brazilian, who claimed pole position and victory at the circuit during his Formula 2 title-winning campaign. While acknowledging the differences between the series, Drugovich believes previous experience around the unique street circuit can still prove valuable, particularly on a qualifying lap where confidence and rhythm are critical.

“Berlin was a good boost of confidence for me. It’s essentially what I needed, especially with how qualifying went. The results from both races are not where we want to be as we always aim to be fighting at the front but, all in all, I think it’s important to take the positives and improve from there. […] I’ve had some success racing in Monaco in the past, and I think the experience from racing around the unique circuit is quite transferable.”
